Project summary
The study had a twofold objective. The first objective was to build a Coastal Risk Management Action Plan, which served as a framework document for investments made over the past ten years on the Comorian coast. Secondly, the study provided the technical and scientific information needed to design and size works that aimed to reduce the risks of coastal erosion and marine submersion on the four sites that are the most at risk in the context of climate change.
