L’objectif principal est de renforcer la résilience de la ville, d’améliorer sa qualité de vie et de la rendre plus productive, tout en minimisant son impact sur l’environnement et le climat. Le programme de l’UMDF soutient divers aspects, notamment la gouvernance et la planification urbaine, l’identification de projets et la préparation des investissements.
Le projet adopte une approche programmatique collaborative, commençant par un diagnostic approfondi pour évaluer le niveau de développement actuel et analyser les défis, y compris les vulnérabilités liées aux risques climatiques. La démarche se poursuit avec la co-construction d’une vision partagée d’un avenir souhaitable et durable, ainsi que l’identification de projets d’investissement clés pour l’élaboration d’un plan d’action concret.
